Who we are
Battery Diagnostics ("the app") is published by Cosmic Wire Inc. ("we", "us"). This policy explains how the app handles information. If you have questions, contact us at privacy@cosmicwire.com.
Information the app accesses
The app reads technical information from your own device in order to display battery and power diagnostics on screen. This includes:
- Battery and power metrics — charge level, voltage, current, temperature, cycle count, estimated capacity and health, charger and fuel-gauge data, thermal zones, and related hardware readings.
- Device power-profile and component power-usage estimates (for example screen, CPU, radio, Wi-Fi, and sensors).
- Optionally, and only if you explicitly grant Usage Access in system Settings: a list of your most-used apps by foreground time, used solely to show per-app battery impact within the app.
This information is processed only on your device, in memory, to render the diagnostics view. It is not transmitted, uploaded, stored on any server, or shared.
Information we do NOT collect
- No account, name, email, or contact information (the app has no sign-up or login).
- No location data.
- No advertising identifiers, and no advertising or analytics SDKs.
- No content you create, and no files beyond the device's own diagnostic data.
No network activity
The app does not request the INTERNET permission and makes no network
connections. Because nothing leaves your device, there is no data "in transit" to
encrypt, no backend to breach, and no third party that receives your information.

Children's privacy
The app is a general-purpose utility, is not directed at children, and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13.
Data retention and deletion
Because the app does not collect or store your personal data off-device, there is nothing for us to retain or delete. Uninstalling the app removes it and any local state from your device.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if the app changes. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date.
